Tatawaw, Kisakoh iskwew nitsikason! Welcome, my cree name is Sky Woman but you can call me Kaysha! I am learning my language which is Plains Cree. 

The idea of TLHC started in early 2021 while attending school as an adult at Maskwacis Cultural College. The usual "finish high school, finish college, travel the world, then get married and have children" was not my path. I met my husband as a teenager in 2009 working at the local movie theatre and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Not only are we high-school sweethearts but we were married in high school at the ages of 16 & 17 - wild, right?

My education journey was on pause for 9 years while raising babies, then during covid I decided to take a leap and return to school in Fall 2020. Since then I've been a full time student/ full time running tlhc, to educational assistant, now speech and language pathologists assistant. My desire is to fully embrace the 9 to 5 with the occasional flower sale here and there along with everything in between.
